Rainbow Community House is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to prevent suicide among LGBTQIA+ youths aged between 12 to 25.
To materialise our vision, our therapists provide tailored gender-affirming counselling sessions for individuals and families to improve the mental, emotional, and relational wellbeing of queer youths and ultimately prevent suicide and self-harm risks.
We are one of the few not-for-profit organisations based in Perth, Western Australia that works exclusively with LGBTQIA+ young people.
We provide a safe space where LGBTQIA+ youths can identify, explore, and develop skills, abilities, and knowledge to navigate struggles they may be facing in their lives and relationships.
We are also a place where queer youths can discover and embrace what is important to them, a place to connect with other young people who are facing similar (and different) hardships and a space where they can celebrate who they are.
Rainbow Community House is a DGR registered charity.
